Tsongmo Lake

Located around 40 kms from Gangtok, this glacial lake is a marvel in itself. It remains frozen during the winter season. It is a sacred lake among the Buddhist people. Famous Tsongmo Lake, Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass View Point. Tsongmo Lake is one of the most visited attraction in Gangtok. Its famous for its altitude of 3870m and the beautiful Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory birds which calls this lake as their home in Spring and Summer.

Rumtek monastery

One of the largest Buddhist Monastery in Sikkim, the architecture of Rumtek monastery is one of the finest in the world and holds immense spiritual significance amongst the Buddhists. It is a world renowned center of spiritual learning and is flocked by thousands of tourists each year.
